The Slap

Postby Magpiespower » Fri Oct 07, 2011 7:28 am

More angst than a teenage diary.

Apart from the actual slap scene it was a bit of a yawn.

Hugo appalled me. All those swings with the cricket bat and all he hit was fresh air. Number eleven if ever I saw one.

Not like Junior from Problem Child. Even little b@st@rd took out a whole little league baseball team. Swing batter, swing!

Wanted to slap the adults more than the kid, particularly Melissa George.

Dying for Anthony Hayes to say to Lex "The Swine" Marinos:

"Money on the fridge, wog".

Didn't watch it, but I'll be 'one of those people' who prefer his novels to the on-screen adaptations.

I tried last night, I really did. But I'd rather watch a webcam from Alf's rape dungeon.

find this comment interesting.... Why would you bother trying if you don't like it?
did you try to like it last week and the week before?
Let me guess, you will try next week too?

keen to read the book it's based on.
