Grand North

I just have a question as to what the deal is with this place. As i know its at the Greenacers football club, but im not sure of what the deal is. Was it a joint venture between the two clubs?
Do the profits get split 50/50 or 60/40 or what?
Im just curious as what the deal is as such here. Proabably a good question for Drebin or wedgie.

As far as I'm aware we get 100% of the profits. We gave them a nice clubroom to frequent and probably look after a bit of upgrade of the oval.
I think their club was virtually broke and we give them a nice place to have a punt on the pokies as well as for pressos and a well run bar.

They get a "nominal payment" from us each year - thats all - the rest is ours - all bar and meals etc profits are North's. We are the occupiers and we agreed to allow Greenacres to continue to share the facility - otherwise they would be out due to debt. After all it was our $1.2M spent to redevelop the site.

Maybe Centrals should get a share of the profits.

We are more North of Adelaide than you are but we wouldnt dream of copying the same names or similaritys of it,oh thats what you did with GRAND NORTH wasnt it so i suppose we should change our name to Northern Adelaide and that would be fine.

No, change to Northern Districts as they are not Central !
And by the way, over the past 100 odd years, i think North

Crikey guys, what a lame argument both ways!
1) RRTW, Central were named after the competition that formed them, that's fair enough.
2) Dogs01, Grand North was named as its on GRAND Junction Rd and its run by NORTH, that's fair enough.

We will change the name from "Grand" if you take out our red and white (that was original  ) out of your colours - we had them first - same principle is it not
