What has happened to Ben Walton ? I see that his not on the injury list and has not played for a few weeks. Has he left the club or retired ?
I don't know why he stayed at North for so long anyway.He has only played 2 league games in 3 seasons,so it is obvious that the coaching staff don't rate him.Surely he would have been better off at West or Norwood where he would have a better chance at league selection.After all that is why he left Central a few years ago.

He's actually been on the coaching staff for the last 2 years, haven't heard that he's retired but when he was out injured long term last year he helped a lot of juniors out and has been enjoying his time at the club and has been treated well.

good on him for giving back like that.

another trinity college kid who was amongst the highly rated group of the whistons, schells and himself.

the whistons (or one of them) didnt last long at all after being drafted by the pies and ben's career in the afl was very short and probably longer than he thought he'd get. BUt to his credit has made a home at north whether it be in the 1's or 2's or coaching.

the whiston that got drafted ended up playin in the QAFL....

Whiston, Walton, Schell, Kinnear.
Kinnear played in two GFs.

Whiston did play in the QAFL. And unless I'm incorrect has played for Trinity OS this season.

ah ben kinnear was the other one...some say he got a few more games in the afl than even he thought he'd get.
