For this bump:

Lucky he only got him in the shoulder, hate to think of what he'd have gotten if it actually hit the guy in the head.

Well he doesn't have the nick name "Thug" for no reason.

Does not have a clean sheet with the Tribunal.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Regardless of his record surely he should have to do something against the rules to get suspended? Free kick yes but a report and a week suspension? Lets just hope the SANFL is consistent with this  Could result in a hell of a lot of players getting rubbed out each week if they are.

Look at the video and see where he made contact with the Centrals players head? He was charged with forceful high contact - so where does high now start? He should be judged on the charge and it should have been dismissd if they are not counting shoulders and the chest. Then the penalty should be determined after being found guilty but if he is that bad as you claim with his "priors", why didn't he get more than one game. It was soft nothing over reaction by the umpire and the tribunal is piss weak.

Still he will be nice and fresh and fired up for the Bays!

Christ, I just checked the video again and I don't even think it got as high as his shoulder, I slowed it down and took note of the way the Central player fell and it looks more like upper arm.
An absolute joke.
His basically hip and shouldered a guy and he's got a week because the guy had his head down even though the head wasn't even hit!

The player had his head over the ball. Howard charged at him front on with a full blooded hip and shoulder. Deserved a week. Lucky he didn't do any damage or it would have been more. Howard wouldn't be the first player this year to get a week for something like that.

Well Deano's learnt a lesson as have others.
If a guy is putting his head down, don't aim for the guys arm to hip and shoulder him if you're coming from side/front on.
You might as well as hit the guy as hard as you can right in the head and put him in hospital as you'll get the same amount of games for it.
Smart stuff tribunal. :?

What's the bet your bloke Schwarze get's off and to top it off all your AFL listed players will be dropped back this week to find form!

I hope so! It would make up for the suspension to one of our players for being 20 minutes late to bed on a Saturday night!

Great shot Rusby, a split second after the contact and his forearm is clearly parallel with the Central player's forearm hence enforcing the point already made, nice work.

But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

tackle a better option?

I think a week is a fair result from reviewing the video , the player going for the ball especially when his head is over it needs to be protected at all times.
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place

Or if the guy has the footy you tackle him, if he doesnt you try to get the footy yourself. The game is under too much scrutiny.

Looked like a good bump to me, but the filtering down of the AFL standards set will (and has) made that a report.
