Hopefully Glenelg!!! But North/Sturt would bring in a nice crowd full of bandwagoners- they will sell out of budgets as no one will know the players!!

Coming from a Gays supporter that's hilarious!

So who's got a bandwagon???

According to Troy,
TroyGFC wrote: North/Sturt would bring in a nice crowd full of bandwagoners
but according to Cambridge Clarrie
Cambridge Clarrie wrote: Coming from a Gays supporter that's hilarious!
, while everyone says Centrals have only got huge numbers of supporters at grand finals, as they're all bandwagoners and Magpies supporters only come out when the Power aren't playing.

So that's five teams with bandwagons.

Meantime, I think there were claims that South had a bandwagon going last year, but that seems to have fallen by the way side.

We do know that the Eagles don't have a bandwagon, as people constantly post that they don't have many supporters, while it's been so long since West did anything that they don't even have a band, let alone a wagon.

All that leaves is Norwood, and we all know what happens when they make the finals don't we???

Me thinks it's time for me to head out to a car yard and see how much a bandwagon costs. Maybe Crushinator's got one in his wrecking yard.

Who knows? But what I do know is that bandwagon is among the most overused terms in football. Cliche, cliche, cliche.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Yeah, but let's face it - in this game, there are more cliches than you can poke a stick at.

You idiot Dogwatcher.

The Norwood Football Club isn't about playing finals.

We are about respect, stability and patience.

The Eagles have to wait until their modified bandwagon is fitted with wider headrests to accomodate 2 heads on the 1 shoulder.

Geez a Glenelg supporter talking about bandwagons!

Your supporters don't travel anywhere but to the Bay so if you finally make a finals series your club better email it's "vast supporter base" (note sarcasm) the directions to Adelaide Oval and hope like hell it is a sunny day. Seriously Glenelg would be the biggest fair weather followers in the SANFL. Even the clubs like South and West with poor followings don't fluctuate with the diehards like the bays do depending on how your are travelling and if the sun is shining!

After the bye will the Bays be able to muster more than the usual 50 diehards at Prospect given the last 4 years efforts and seeing as you have something tangible to play for?

Go to hell troll... how come i see the same bays fans at whatever game i go to... your comments are very unsubstantiated.. i suppose im a bandwagoner having been to 130 losses and about 40 wins.....1 win over centrals and you shoot your mouth off. Get over the 80's.

Perhaps you can tell Troy the same thing - it was his idiotic post I responded to in the first place!

P.S. My comments about Glenelg fans and their lack of turning up at Prospect in the last 4 years are very factual. By the way how many Bay fans went to AO in last years final round re the mini final for 5th place, remind us all, what was the crowd that day - just over 2000? Considering South even managed to have a good turnout that day as compared to normal the bay turnout was terrible. That's right the Crows were on that day so it didn't suit most of the "fair weather" bay fans to supprt your beloved Tigers did it?

Well if all the bays fans are at Crows matches, how come north doesnt get 10 000+ to all matches? are the rest of your supporters watching Geelong and Hawthorn? All clubs have suffered from the advent of Sa based afl teams and yeah all teams have bandwagoners, get results on the board and the fans will flock. Dont put me in the bandwagon category.

Yes :D

Seriously though, all teams have been impacted on but its pretty obvious some have been impacted upon more than others.
North have had games against the Crows with virtually no impact on the gate.
Ive seen more South supporters at Prospect than Ive seen Bays fans at some recent Prospect games.
When you guys had a good win when Simmo was coach there was the Snouts (about a dozen of them) and virtually no other Glenelg fans around the whole oval, Ive never seen such a poor away crowd at Prospect ever.

Ho hummm...

Spell Check, can we please (again) have the attendances at North Adelaide games for the last 6 years?

What was it again, something like 45% more people in Jarman's first year when compared to Hart's last (last) year?
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Hallelujah,, Drebin....

It's been a well known fact that "most" bays fans don't travel past Brighton Rd to see a game of footy.

The regular snouts excepted.

This is half the reason why I started a "where have all the bays fans gone" but got flamed down by flogger counts and home ground stats etc..

Yeah, i find myself struggling to sleep at night

You'll actually find that i, and most other North supporters, are content in the knowledge that while we might not have been as successful as a club like Port Adelaide, we have at least been consistent and bobbed up for a premiership in each decade so far. Running out of time in this one yes but could be a lot worse, isn't that right :P

I must be a bandwagoner because i havent been to Prospect since 2005. Get over it, i work in the retail liqour industry and cant call a sicky every time the footys on, does that make me any less of a supporter of my club than one who works monday-friday sitting in front of a computer. Looks like the general concensus is that Glenelg has the least supporters in the league

Ho hummm hey? - this whole arguement was fuelled by that idiot Troy and his post about North being bandwagoners. The fact is your supporters don't travel these days and Wedgie and I are dead correct re Prospect over the past few seasons!

Well maybe when we get a "nutty" coach and play in a couple of finals series we will be allowed to have an increase in support without labelling them bandwagoners.
