You needed to add a "Revise and re-hash the system". It would have got the best part of 100% of the vote I think.

This really has been done to death at this stage. im nore sure many people will be interested in a poll as well to the 10 other threads about this topic.

Yes that would probably be my preferred choice too except as I've argued on other threads (and the fact that there is so many means that there is a fair bit of interest in this topic) I don't think that there is any way to strictly police it. The problem (see detailed reasons on other threads) is the SANFL has limited powers to police a cap in the current format. Having said that I note that I am in the minority as most people are in favour of continuing the current system with some changes.

Well i mean get a good accountant and you can find that many other ways around the direct player payments.

So really to police it properly you would need the same powers that an AFL club has in regards to access to well just about everything. And from what Drebin has been kind to tell us this aint evn close to the case.

Yeah, Its Ground Hog Day. We will keep repeating until we fix the problem.

Who says the AFL cap works anyway. Its the draft which has evened the comp.
