That depends on which team turns up. This weks team, every chance IMO. The team that turned up 2 weeks ago, not a cats chance.

Lets hope it's this weeks team

Will be tough. Dogs are experimenting a bit at the moment, so are a little vulnerable. I expect in the next round or two things will settle down a bit more and some players will be in more customary roles. North really need the win for their own confidence as much as anything, and also to keep their top 3 chances alive. Games against the Eagles and Sturt will probably decide this in the end, but a win against the dogs will give them the luxury of possibly dropping one of those games.

We need Jimmy Allan back.

Hopefully 'Tubby' Wintle and Scott Bambford will be back too.
Mind you, having said that Toby Stribling really brought something to the wing today.

I thought Lads might be carrying an injury but they through him on the ball today and he was easily in the best 2 or 3 on the ground IMHO.

Thought Ladhams had a lot of cheap kicks though.

I disagree, I (and the radio and the club) thought he was clearly 2nd best on ground, if I can snap a few of his "cheap kicks" in 5 minutes of photography I'd say its a pretty good indicator of his whole day, mind you, the way Norwood play under Hill you could argue any kick is a cheap one as they get worse every time I see them. I can only assume you didn't stand on the southern side of the oval where Chris earnt countless kicks and stood out as easily the best onballer today.

PS Back on topic, there's a chance Damon White might be back next week for North too. :D

Need to "squeeze" him plus Allan, Bamford and Ivens, who was a late withdrawl today. No easy task for Jars and the selectors re who should return or who should go this week?

No doubt Schuey will go
Weatherley will be missing so maybe White can replace him up front. You've got to put a fit Bamford in for Sribling at this stage. Banger has been in good form for North this year.

This should be another cracker. North have alot more to gain from this agme than the dogs, so you would expect north to come out firing. If north win this 3rd spot is a huge chance especially if sturt beat the eagles. Also north have to stand up to the teams that they are going to come up against come finals time.
My prediction (although sitting on the fence abit) either side by less than 4 goals.
Dogs experimenting and tough training might just take its toll, but the guts and grit this side has when the games come down to the wire is phenominal.

Coming from a Glenelg supporter??? What does that make your side if you actually finally end up making the finals - one of the serious threats?

what, so north havent been hot and cold? or would that comment have been qualified coming from a north supporter, read your results and tell me where i am wrong, btw we have to make the 5 first and if by an act of god we win all of our remaining matches - yes we will be a threat to everyone, however that is unlikely

Have to agree with that. Even a win next week (although unlikely) won't be enough to convince me we have what it takes to go all the way.

IF that happens ... big IF .... then we would have wins against all the contenders - Centrals, Eagles, Sturt - this season. That's a good resume to have going in the finals. But, we have to do it first

A number of players are returning and we are finally getting close to our best side out on the park. Let's wait and see.

Neither Sturt or North would want to drop games now that the Eagles are coming home fast!

If North play like they did yesterday, Centrals will pick em up and spit em out. North should have smashed an embarrassing Legs yesterday and Im sure at least 3 other sides would've.

18 goals to 8 seems OK to me? Norwood have beaten both Sturt and the Eagles this season and had a good team on the park

I wasn't there tho - you think it should have been like the Alberton match?
