Really thought this guy could play and a shame he'll be lost to the SANFL as well.
Does the fact that he hasn't hung around 'til the end of the season indicate there could be some unrest at South given the Kenna situation and the dropping of players like Ben Warren.

If Ben Warren started trying he might find himself back in the league team.

I would think so. Kenna and Archard would probably be their two best players. Something pretty bad is happening down South at the moment I would imagine.

Must be more than just a south problem if he's leaving the crows. He made sacrifices so perhaps he just feels he was better off without the AFL chance. Probably the south issues have made him leave league football altogether. The crows would have facilitated a move to another club if it was just South he didn't like.

On Ben Warren, he is more than welcome down the bay where South do pre-season anyway.

So in the space of a week we've lost our b+f and the runner up in the magarey. What a kick in the guts :(

Two of the most skillful and hard working players i've seen don the jumper in the last decade.

I'd like to think it's more of an AFL issue (as was pointed out, if he had problems with south he could do a Willits and go elsewhere) than a South issue, but given the last few weeks who would know? :?

As for Benny Warren, he deserves a bit of credit in that everytime he's been dropped this year he's put in a good effort the following week in the Bs (kicked 7 in a 15 goal loss last week etc). As the expression goes, god himself would struggle to get a kick in the south fwd line at the moment.

The club seems to be quite definate the Pyman is staying for next year, so I think that it is quite likely there will be a significant turn over of the list at the end of the year, yet good chance is that the turnover has already started!

So if Pyman stays for 2008.
Gets rid of 10 plus players from the group.
Starts/restructures it once again.!!!!

Is he going to stay beyond 2008?

or leave it up to the next coach to clean up the mess it will be left in for 2009???

I think if a position came up he would jump at the chance. :?

What a bad loss. The guy is a terrific player.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

A big loss, Archard, homesick for Echuca!!! Watch him turn up at another club next year
As for Warren, he suffers from lack of supply, hard to be a key forward in a side getting little out of the midfield or bombing it. If he leaves south, expect at least 4 or 5 clubs to be really interested.
