Postby Dogmatic » Mon Jan 16, 2006 7:33 pm

Former Subiaco and Perth rover Chad O'Sullivan has signed with SANFL club Central Districts for the 2006 season.

After leaving WA, O'Sullivan had a successful season in 2005 for VFL club Werribee.

He was third in Werribee's B&F last year

Below is some more info on his season with the Northern Knights in 2002

Abe Williams and Chad O’Sullivan have capped a brilliant season by finishing on equal votes to share the Best and Fairest trophies with a narrow win over the rest of the field. Abe and Chad were outstanding throughout the year, featuring as key players in the knights run to the final series. ‘These two players are also popular among team mates and coaching staff. Both have shown great courage and determination and the wiliness to learn and share their experiences with the rookies of the team. Abe Williams was also chosen for the TAC Cup, Team of the Year and Chad O’Sullivan finished equal second with Steve Dinnell (Eastern) and Danny Bristow (Sandringham) in the Morrish Medal count by polling 20 votes.

Chad O’Sullivan

Followed up his equal second place in the 2002 Morrish Medal, by being named rights joint best and fairest winner for season 2002. Played every game and was unlucky to miss TAC team of the year selection. A creative player who attacks the ball with ferocity, and uses his running power to great effect through the midfield. Chad has been involved with the knights since 2001 and has played 39 games, in the TAC Cup Competition.

He also did pre season training with the Western Bulldogs.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Check out this site: http://cdfc.com.au/the40.htm

How many of these players played for only a year or two at the club? I think that you will find that they have on nearly every occasion stayed for many years - even the recruits.
