After today North will "coast in first gear" to comfortable 6 or 7 goal win although we should belt them after the round 2 70 plus point win when Westies were in better form.

I hope North can actually finish a side off properly, not just do enough to win.

North by 3 figures. I really hope Westies can pull something out of the bag though. They have shown in a couple of games that they can play. Being competitive would at least give some hope to their fans.

I'll update the Roost with scores tomorrow JTC, I figured that if I spend time taking pics and updating the forum I wont have time to drink which could be a good thing as Im working on Sunday starting at 8am, bloody health checks for major system releases.

North will give the bloods a hiding 120 points +. But Westies might show up to play the first quarter will show that. Westies should just go the biff.

"Ohh lucky, lucky" - despite having 4 injured players - 3 before 1/4 time North took a long time to get into the game and shake a determined West. The lack of intensity, committment, manning up coupled with no repsect for the opposition, poor skills under pressure had North for 1 and half quarters staring defeat in the face and at 8 goals to 3 and West missing a getable set shot we should have been gone!

However with North's new catch cry "The just enough club" we did just enough in the end to win.

Injuries don't help early either:

Allan - leg sore from last week plus got a corky in the first centre bounce - hardly got a touch and ran on the spot all day. Should be rested next week!
White - knee injury after kciking first 2 - tried to come back on but at least we have Wundke and Weatherely lurking in the two's.
Ryswyk - groin/hammy but did play out due to no bench! Probably should miss one or two?
Wintle - hammy. He looked to slow and no leg power with his kicking from the opening boucne and 2 appalling skill errors in one passage gifted West their first goal. I am a big "Tubby" fan but I think this latest hammy (6 weeks is the diagnosis at this stage) might spell the end.

Some very poor other performances today from a couple of players - not the least being Motlop who didn't look interested, favoured his dicky ankle and sulked his way thru one of the laziest games I have seen from a bloke who actually played in an AFL premiership.

My best Tate Kaesler.

P.S. NAFC =
N ever A ble to F insh a C ontest.
