Then there are those like Andrew Crowell that left from Eagles to West once they had been delisted from the Crows.

All 9 SANFL clubs should band together and next time Cows or PAPs try to dictate who plays what position, tell them to get stuffed and that we are not a feeder comp for them.

Club Losses Gains Net G/L
SA 4 0 -4
CD 3 0 -3
WA 2 1 -1
NA 2 2 0
Eag 0 1 1
Nor 0 1 1
St 0 1 1
GL 2 4 2
PA 1 4 3
So the worst off clubs are South and CD and the gainers are Port and Glenelg.

South Adelaide have a net loss of four, is it any co-incidence that they are the furtherest club away from both Football Park and Alberton oval, why would a young player from Victoria drafted to the Crows want to commute for 40-50 mins a day to be involved with the club, naturally the kid is going to prefer playing for Glenelg or Westies if they have to be located on the south side of the city.
I think that we have seen enough to suggest that the current mini draft situation is not working well. What concerns me most is that it is alright for an AFL listed SANFL player to switch clubs, Jericho wore Westies colours last week and this week wears the Blue and Red of Norwood against Westies this week. Yet it is not ok for AFL listed players to switch clubs in the same fashion. Why is that, probably because the SANFL is seen as inferior and encouraged to be run in an amatuer unproffessional manner as a result.
Players switching clubs once the season has started has to come to an end in the SANFL. If Jericho does not want to play for Westies, fair enough, let him pull on the jumper for Goodwood and play in the Amatuer league instead.
It is time that the managment of the SANFL started to understand and value what wearing the colours of an SANFL club means to its supporters. As members, we deserve a lot more respect from the SANFL.
yep

Lets turn it on them.
I know there was a time when Damon White was playing for us and was very disenchanted with the Power, we should have been able to move him to another AFL club!

Can any of the poster provide a link or copies of what is the rules relating to AFL players in the SANFL - too many times we discuss issues and presune certain rules apply only to find we were misinformed - it would be good to know what is actualy the position?
