The trial game Eagles v North will now be at Woodville not Thebarton - same day same times but for the first time i can remember we have a trial at Oval Ave - ground not being used for cricket so we have a home trial.

I think it's because, as cd said, Woodville isn't being used for cricket so therefore can be used for the trial.

It means we can move from our summer home - Thebby - a little earlier - all the gear etc we move from Woodville to Thebby at the start of preseason goes back earlier this year.
We are then set up and settled back at Woodville earlier and thus all ready to go for trial at home.

Fair enough CD, oh well, at least I always get a good park at Woodville.

Ahh well, at least Woodville has some grass for the kids to play on and better facilities, more annoyed about tomorrow to tell the truth, bloody cricket!
Could have lunch at the Holdy having several of their beautiful beers on tap, could have strolled over to the Bay, played with the kids on grass all day and got home with plenty of time to spare to get to another engagement tomorrow night at the Airport.
Now its rock up to dirty old concrete Prospect, kids get bored, buggerall facilities, get home and virtually have to leave at the same time, time constraints might even mean I don't go at all.
Damn I hate cricket!

With the game now being at Woodville means that I can now walk to the game and not get a bus.
