Posted: Fri Mar 23, 2007 9:38 amHard to say at this point in time Brod, plenty of enthusiasm around the place but you would say the same for all clubs at this time of year ... We have a tough draw which IMHO is a good thing, but might not produce benefits until next year.
We have a good core of younger players still which at some point in time I believe will hold us in good stead, but now appear a little light on for senior experience (Brett James absence will be underestimated by many) ... We will require a good rub* with our AFL listed players, which I think we're every chance of getting.
Much will depend upon a fairly large group of players in their 3rd or 4th season, whom to date have yet to REALLY make their mark - I believe these guys have been made aware that it's make or break time for them.
I'd suggest a minor round finish of anywhere between 4th and 9th (lol hows that for sitting on the fence).
