I know this topic comes up most years but what are the realistic chances of being able to set up a fantasy SANFL competition. I know it wouldn't be the easiest compeition to run but with many helpers which i'm sure SAFooty would have, it would be possible. The rules for points could be similar to the AFL websites competition, and players values could be vauled out of ten instead of their salary like the AFL version.
I think if this was possible it would add a great dimension to supporting the football this year. It would also increase the number of hits IMHO which would also be more intising for companies looking to advertise.

yeah i understand that it would'nt be easy, but if you could have a supporter from each club workin out their own clubs results it may become possible and limit the amount of time any one person has to spend on it. I know for one i would be willing to do anything that would help get it up and going.

I want this so bad.
Doesn't the SANFL publish a .pdf of player stats for each round?

I know there far from being correct every week but even if we used the Monday Advertiser stats atleast they would be consistent and therefore enable a fair game. Im also sure it would be possible to get lists of player from each club for there entire senior squad so then we would have a huge range of players to pick our teams from.

Wedgie could run it, & process the stats after each round & have the results ready by Mondy mornings...

How about just do a footy tipping comp, everyone chuck in a few coins, winner takes all at season finale. Keep the fantasy footy for the AFL.

How about you do footy tipping, and those who want an SANFL fantasy comp can organise and participate in that.
