My guess at North's other trial games:
Weekend of Sat 17th March:
North v Port TBA
Weekend of Sat 24th March:
North v Glenelg TBA
Might also have a bye in there instead.

They have done that and they try to have the other clubs in the first game and play Norwood in the second.

Cool, I was right with my guesses, now confirmed, should be able to make them all if Lawn Bowls finishes early March, stoked that the first trial is underlights at Norwood against Hargy!
Looks like we have the full fixture of trial games now.

If that's what it says, then it must be true.

Why so many trial games before the season starts and how much do clubs really get out of them? Last year the Eagles won all of their trial games and then had the worst start to a season since the amalgamation. The other thing is, seeing all clubs voluntarily play at least three weeks worth of trial games, why not make it some sort of pre-season competition? Maybe a knockout format at Norwood Oval on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday nights. I'd probably go along if there was any meaning to them and they might get some press coverage and some early promotion for the season proper.
