Looks like they have succeeded

That'll set them back tens of thousands of dollars.

How the hell will they make that money back?

Has to be more to it.

Yes, the food, handling and safety laws can get a bit tiresome and I'm sure someone with a vendetta could easily find the odd indiscretion to the letter of the law if they look hard enough.

Surely not enough to shut down one of very income lines a football club has.

You know what you're getting into when you grab a snag off a barbie at a club, there's risk involved but you know that.

I’m sure the steakholders will be able to roll with the punches and organize an eggsellent result.

Couldn't agree more, it's a load of rubbish.

My point was more that pretty much any club who is collecting their own meat and not having it delivered (not saying westies would be doing that) is more than likely breaking a few of the food safety storage rules. If someone with a vendetta is looking to be an ASS hole I'm sure they could make things stupidly difficult.

Same with ammo clubs, im sure if you went through their administration of temp checks on purchase and then on delivery etc etc they would be a bit short of what's required.

Just let people cook a BBQ FFS!!!!!!! We arent dropping like flies from footy club BBQ's.

Westies would be better off working out how to run the bar that usually runs out of drinks by 1/2 or 3/4 time EVERY AdFL final there

The BBQ was always good and run by Westies people with a smile

From the president report in September

In this modern era we are all aware that our facilities need to improve so that we can continue to grow and develop – so it is with excitement that we announce the investment of a fully fitted transportable burger bar, which will be find its new home at the ovals edge. This new addition will not only enhance our game day experiences, but will allow us to cater for a wide range of other events; offering a broader selection of food and drinks, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing a more comfortable space for our volunteers.

A sincere thanks to Mr Richard Sykes who transported the 20ft container from Kilkenny to Hisense Stadium. For those who have already spotted the bright green container in the car park, you’ll be excited to know that it will be painted in our club colours during the off-season. We’re also in the process of identifying the perfect location for it, so it’s ready to serve you in 2025.

Thiele to the rescue. =D>

Severe reprimand for Blacky … no bullshit in the SANFL threads #-o

;)

To be fair, got the first half of the story right, Thiele filled in the 2nd half. :D

Oops, I thought it was only bullshit in the SANFL threads, my mistake!
