The South Adelaide Football Club is excited to announce the addition of Olivier Northam to the Panthers.
Northam joins the Panthers from St Joseph's Football Netball Club, where he played in the Geelong Football and Netball League.
At just 19 years old, Northam has already made his mark by being part of Werribee's VFL Development List and representing Vic Country in the 2022 National Championships, where he achieved 45 hit-outs.
Standing tall at 197 cm, Northam is set to fill the gap left by Ollie Megins' injury.
Brent Reilly, the General Manager of Football, expressed his enthusiasm about Northam's arrival.
"Olly is a competitive young ruckman we've had our eye on for the last two seasons." said Reilly.
"With Ollie Megins out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury, we reached out to Olly [Northam], and he agreed to play four games for us leading into the bye."
"We're delighted to welcome Olly to the South family, along with his parents, Jon and Natalie, who are joining us from Geelong."
Northam is set to make his SANFL debut on Sunday afternoon against Sturt at Thomas Farms Oval.

Great inclusions for South.
Great to see Guy Page will be a one club 200 game player. Very Well done..
Hayden Sampson will finally get his 100th game after missing due to illness last week.
South by a point.

#62 for the South reserves celebrating like they’d won the grand final when a late goal put them 12 points up.
Sturt then kicked 2 goals in the next 30 seconds to draw it with a goal after the siren

Matthew’s, Snelling, Fahey Sparks, Dakin and McFadyen not out there from the named line up, plus Perez and Doyle is testing the depth somewhat

Got the job done against a determined South. I thought South troubled us with a bit of speed early and their couple of big blokes up front had a good presence.
Sturts back six of Illman, Edmonds, Comblas, Page, Becker and Voss were very good again with Illman, Voss and Becker providing really good run out of the backlines.
First gamer Kittel in the ruck was strong at the clearances with 47 hit outs and allowed Lewis to go to work on the ground.
I thought Grivell moved the best of the big forwards and topped it off with 4 goals and Hone and Conforti were damaging when they got their chances.
7 first choice players out means there's a bit to come back in, its just a matter of when and how.
On a side note, today's atmosphere at Unley was a flat as i've seen at a game in a long time. Didn't see a lot of panthers there, and if they were there, they were pretty quiet. Hopefully just a sign of a cold Sunday in July and not an ongoing trend.
