IS THE 5 SET ALREADY?
After this round, there SHOULD be a 3 game break between 6th & 5th,
has there ever been such a gap between 5th & 6th this early in the season?

If Glenelg and Sturt win, then yes.

All set in concrete now.
The top 5 are just playing for the double chance now.
Going to be one of those seasons where a loss late in the season could drop you from first or second to fifth

Next week the top 5 teams play the bottom 3*. Gonna widen the gap between 5th and 6th even further.

Percentage is going to hurt us unless we can get some big margins go our way

2 game gap plus so much percentage it may as well be a three game gap.
North needs to keep winning and have the other teams out of the five cause upsets.
As I said last week, North are having a go, but still have to improve their skills.

Big win by North on the weekend. Could’ve been by a lot more too.
Over next 2 rounds, North have Port then South. Eagles have Glenelg then Sturt.
Could be just percentage separating both teams after Round 14 with plenty of the season still to play out.

Dogs are not safe either with our injury list.

But North are likely to lose to either Port or South. As discussed in an earlier thread throughout their existence they make a habit of beating the top sides and losing to the bottom sides.
Off topic I know but I often mention North's record at Alberton and that I have seen them win there on 26 occasions. Even more remarkably out of those 26 wins, six of them were in Port Premiership years. That stat alone sums up North Adelaide over the years.

It looks like we're not getting anyone back for our next game. I don't have much confidence against the Crows side that just comfortably beat Glenelg.

A very long time ago then.

It looks that way,we all thought a few would be back after the bye.
Seems like our injuries take longer than our clubs in returning.
If we don't get anyone back then no chance against the Crows.

Certainly were a long time ago. The last couple of North wins at Alberton in Port premiership years (1996 and 1998) don't seem that long ago, but they are. We all know that Port hasn't won an SANFL flag this century.
As you know I love a stat and I love that Port have lost their last 8 league Grand Finals at Adelaide Oval. They certainly won't add to that record this year.

North have a good squad, mix of talls and smalls, bustling midfield, and a lot of skill. If they get on a roll they will challenge any of the top three.

Dogs64 so you are saying that Jez McLennans ankle is worse than we thought.
