There have been a lot of upsets this year - upset Doggie and Blood fans ;)

If we get within 10 goals on Saturday, we will have done well.

GLENELG

Glenelg has regained co-captain Chris Curran as it prepares to host Central at ACH Group Stadium.

The 2019 premiership skipper was a late withdrawal last round with a lower leg issue but has recovered to be named at half-back.

Premiership defender Jonty Scharenberg could play his first League game of the season after a 33-disposal performance in the Reserves.

Forward Tom Condon and half-back Callum Park have also been listed on the seven-man extended interchange bench.

Michael Virgin couldn’t be considered after injuring his hamstring against Norwood on Saturday.

South-east product Brad Agnew will play his 150th League game after making his debut in Round 1 of 2011.

Ouch! 6 players 18 &19 yrs old in CDFC side this week, plus 3 x 20 year-olds, and a few in their early 20's who have not racked up much more than 20 games. It is a very brave selection, good for the future because the younger players all look to have potential, but this is going to be a real test for Thommo's match day coaching. If we can stay in the contest for most of the game it will pay dividends for next year. I like the selection, because it says the coaches are prepared to take the risk and are willing to accept the consequences if it goes wrong.

Yep, will provide the team with a Boost in seeking premiership Bounty, Moro less. Getting a spot in that Bay side won't be a Picnic, though.

Seriously though, a full strength Bays side is less likely to Chokito Flake it in the major round.

I too have heard the Snickers from opposition supporters who Whip themselves into a frenzy hoping we Flake in the finals despite being Breakaway leaders all year. But when it comes to the Crunch I reckon we’ll be Top Deck & I’ll Twirl in the Streets.

Still wont be as embarrassing as the game 10 years ago at Glenelg when we lost by 12 goals to 17 fit players, James Gowans spent the last 5 min of the game just sitting in the fwd 50 unable to move with a busted hamstring.

I know of a doggies Supporter who was so sure dogs were going to lose That day Due to all our injuries. He bet that he would dance on top of the interchange box If we didn’t :-)

It was a great day

Glenelg have got a fantastic side no wonder they are undefeated class on every line.I hope we go out and take the game on with a nothing to lose attitude .We have no chance if we play like we have been ,we wont win anyway but at least if we have a crack against the best and hopefully make them earn their certain win we could get something out of the game.Reallistically a 7- 8 goal loss would be a good effort .

Scott Morrison must be playing in the backlines for our Ressies today - Hosie has six goals to halftime: 'I don't hold a Hosie, mate'.
