Postby DOC » Tue Aug 10, 2021 3:48 pm

West to bounce back here. Somewhat.

Beat Norwood first time round on a Friday night by 3 goals.

Norwood still in the hunt for a double chance. West will be improved with Beech and Gore likely inclusions. Puopolo likely to miss for Norwood.

Norwood by 4 goals.

I wouldn't be surprised if West win this, after the crap week they've had.

The week after the Bays kicked 1.4 against Norwood they pushed Sturt to 6 points, and the next week they knocked off the top-of-the-table Eagles.

So there's been a precedent of sorts.

Westies having a crack tonight

Not even half time and they’ve already had more tackles than what they had for the whole game last week.

Siren goes, half time, Norwood up by 7 pts 5 3 to 4 2
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Awful game of footy.

R Douglas 3 Votes.

Norwood in a transition phase and West just poor all round.

Really feel sorry for West, don’t have much $$ to play with and don’t see it changing for a while. One positive is their 18s are strong and have some who look like they will transition to league footy in a years.
