Times have changed. I worked at Holden's in the 70's and 80's. The Port players of note and there were many were put into positions that they never worked any shift. My manager at the time made a shift roster that put the Port back pocket player of the time on Afternoon shift. All hell broke out and the manager was read the riot act.
