All Over

Sturt .....3-0, 3-5, 3-0, 3-6 =12-11: 83
Central ..2-1, 2-1, 2-4, 4-0= 10-6: 66

Very tight, perhaps Sturt's kicking kept the Dogs in it? Can't really understand just by looking at stats.

Just checked out the stats for the Sturt v Dogs game.
Goal kickers:
Sturt
Beard 4
Evans 2
Wilson 2
Hansen
Penfold
Read
Sutcliffe
Central
Holman 2
Fort
Fort
Hanna
Hannath
Hewett
Schiller
Walter
Weaver
I was struck by the absence of one name from the goalkicker's list, so I checked out the individual stats:
J Butcher: No kicks. No handballs. No marks. No hit outs. 1 free against.
Perhaps he was injured? Otherwise Sturt must have had a blanket playing on him.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Umpires get the Eagles over the line yet again. Those umpires will get another gig looking after the SANFLs love child.
I wish at times I followed a plastic club. But nah.

As already mentioned we are pretenders Buddha Hocking game plan is laughable way too defensive and when the pressure is on the team only kicks backwards. South will finish bottom 3 and Hocking is not the man to take us to a premiership. 2 goals in the 2nd half, Eagles played entire game with only 2 on the bench but we never played on and use this to our advantage instead we always play slow and kick backwards.

Hocking coaches like a scared man unwilling to take risks.

Just do us all a favour and choke in the Grand Final yet again, take the easy way out by merging and still don't win half as much as you should but you made life easy for the SANFL so will always be looked after. I've run out of fingers and toes for the amount of times the yellow liver team has had wins stolen for them from all other teams especially at Woodville.
