Glenelg has been dealt a blow at selection with Ben Sawford ruled out of Sunday’s contest against Adelaide at Gliderol Stadium.
Recruited from the Port Magpies last summer, Sawford has strained his hamstring, ensuring he is the certain exclusion from the Bays’ 23-man squad.
Classy goalsneak Willie Rioli returns to a forward pocket while Jed Redden and possible debutant Matt Merrett have been added to the five-man extended interchange bench.
The older brother of fellow Tiger Brad Merrett, Matt Merrett – who measures in at 192cm and 90kg – has been recruited from Penola in the Bays’ South-East zone.
Hard-working utility Max Proud will play his 50th IGA League match.

Adelaide captain Luke Carey has been injected back into the line-up for the clash against Glenelg at Gliderol Stadium on Sunday.
The key defender has been named at centre-half back to replace consistent backman Andy Otten, who has been sidelined by a thumb injury.
Fellow defender Jake Kelly returns to a back pocket while Matthew Johncock has been added to a five-man extended interchange bench.
Defender Sam Shaw (concussion) and former captain Nathan van Berlo (foot) are still another two weeks away from resuming.

If the Bay's play 4 qtrs they'd be in with a shout, but they don't so Adeliade Reserves will either be too far in front for Glenelg to catch them or Adelaide Reserves will over run them in the 2nd half.
Either way sadly Adelaide Reserves by 25-30 points

Nice to get a win but to borrow a Blightyism - there's no need for the Crows to wash those reserves guernseys, just hand them back to the property steward ready for next week.

They have some skill in that crows side but they are a weak lot mentally
