Are the cocks kicking with the breeze in the last quarter... If so is it worth a goal or two?

I'll say it, listening to the radio it sounds like the umpires continued their tradition in giving another one to the golden child.

27 to 14. Looks like the Eagles missed out on some potentially important percentage.

Make that 25 to 14 scoring shots.
North had 4/5 bounce though, great kicking.
Interesting that North had 9 goal scorers,Mackenzie got 2.

I was there I have no clue how the Eagles won
North were all over the Eagles
Eagles stuffed three quarters up played the last quarter the best they'd played all day but it was rubbish than other weeks

But a win is a win

it feels like the loss we had to had except we won. There was a strong breeze favouring the southern end to which the cocks kicked in the last quarter but the Eagles held out.

You've got your stats the wrong way around mate, try again.
Even though the Eagles dominated the frees it wasn't just that, an umpire making a North bloke kick it from 55 out instead of 40 metres where it went out on the full when North were behind by 6 points is another example that won't show up on the stats sheet. Umpire seemed extremely reluctant to play blatant frees in North's 50 listening to unbiased radio commentary too.

Thought the Eagles got absolutely screwed by the bald headed umpire. We've had him a lot this year, cannot umpire.
Eagles won because their desperation was better than the Roosters when it counted in the last quarter.
Surely it can't be said the Eagles shouldn't won, they had eleven more scoring shots!!!!!!!!!

That was the most inept dispaly of umpiring i have seen for some time. Confusing both sides . When they refuse to pay obvious frees and pick the 3rd or 4th its a wonder they didn't have a riot on their hands. Umpiring just gets worse and worse

I'm still coming to terms with three players in a pack eagle player on top of two north players . Both north players had hands on the ball the eagle player holding onto the north players . Umpire blows the whistle holding the ball free to north . Two north players have hands on the ball but they get the holding the ball free .
Boundary umpire on my side of the oval couldn't through the ball in 20 metres towards north goal every through in .

Wundkes head injury that's what cost north the game or draw they hit him in the head in the goal square and that umpire finally saw a free

Wundke copped a knee to the head near the goal square. Required 5 stitches.
North match up well on us and again gave us trouble like at Oval Ave.
North smacked us in clearances but Eagles won most other stats.
McGregor is a freak and his smother, which led to Wundke's free was pivotal. McGregor Kicked 3-5 and unfortunately didn't have his kicking boots on, like a few of his team mates. A well ground out, disciplined last quarter by the Eags.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation
