GLENELG
Glenelg captain Andrew Bradley could miss as much as 10 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair his broken collarbone.
Ruled out of Monday’s contest against North at Gliderol Stadium, the Tigers skipper was hoping to avoid the surgeon’s knife, which now means he will likely be out for an extra fortnight at least.
His absence will see the captaincy shared by joint vice-captains Aaron Joseph and Brad Agnew against the Roosters, with former North midfielder Rhys O’Keeffe sidelined by a hamstring strain.
Early-season revelation Josh Koster and former Port Magpie Jack Haarsma are the candidates to replace Bradley after being named on the extended bench for the Tigers.
Key position players Michael Galley and Max Proud have also been recalled, Proud having built match fitness after a hamstring strain.

NORTH
North Adelaide has thrust vice-captain Max Thring back into its line-up to confront Glenelg at Gliderol Stadium on Monday.
Despite not having played since straining his hamstring against Adelaide in Round 7, the youngest Thring sibling has been named to start in the centre square.
The star midfielder’s presence is a significant bonus given former West End State player Jay Shannon has been forced out due to suspension.
Shannon took an early guilty plea from the SANFL Incident Review Panel for engaging in rough conduct with South’s Brede Seccull in Round 10.
Former Carlton utility Joe Anderson has been sidelined by a hamstring strain suffered against the Panthers.
Sam De Leonardis, Josh Gregg and Billy Lloyd have all been included on the Roosters’ five-man extended interchange bench.

Hopefully a good tight contest between two decent footballing sides.
Hard one to call, head says Glenelg, heart says North so somewhere in the middle must be the first draw of the season.

Alleway to say a big hello to his former club, kick a bag and lead the tigers to a win I reckon.

Still never understood why the roosters didnt get Alleway back!!!

That was simply coach McGregor's decision. Seemed strange then. Still seems strange.

Anyone know why Sumner didn't return to the Eagles when he came back to the SANFL? Did the Eagles not want him or did the Bays make him an offer he couldn't refuse?

I think they have,a top result last week scoring lots of goals too.
The Roosters must play tight and score big.
