Perfect day for footy.
April in footy season.
Saturday afternoon.
Nothing to do.
No income for any league clubs.
Off to the ammos I suppose.
No league footy in Adelaide why?

Because we have morons running the comp that's why. The fixture is a mess, so many byes and terrible programming, someone needs to get the sack.

That really is quite astonishing.

Barring state game weekends I wouldn't mind betting it's never happened in before.

The fixture is a real mess way too many byes during the season and now no games on a Saturday arvo is just bizarre!

SANFL need to have a good hard look at themselves, I really wonder if Channel 7 are pulling some strings in the background regarding the fixture.

It is just part of the ploy to denigrate the SANFL by the heirachy of AFL loving commissioners. Time for the revolution

Unfortunately, the SANFL doesn't want to bite the hand it thinks feeds it.

I am not strong on the numbers.
What is the real net $ gain to each SANFL club anyone please?

Clubs don't make the same money on a beautiful Sunday as the do on a beautiful Saturday?

Fan preference for Saturday arvo footy. Fans more likely to have a few drinks during and after a game on a Saturday than a Sunday knowing they've got to front up to work the next day.

Correct and in North and South's case it's zero for the weekend. I'm sure we'll pull a bigger crowd in the middle of winter on a rainy cold day.

Giving more free kicks for people to get back to their grass roots club and not attend the SANFL.

With no coverage on radio or TV,
so many byes and no Saturday footy,
supporters are forgetting to go to the footy on ANZAC day!
Just over 3000 at Adelaide Oval today incredible.
Has this game ever drawn such a tiny crowd in history?
The SANFL are forgetting why they are there.
Last man out turn off the lights!

Betting prices now show Crows are favourite for the premiership.
Should they win it,heaven help the future of the league.
