State match at the Oval... Hmmm.

I believe it would have been better at a suburban venue like Richmond or even Norwood.

We live in hope though.

wont more rounds just mean split rounds dressed up differently? Or will there be more than 18 games each? Cant see the AFL sides playing on their bye rounds

Fair enough.

They're still on the North website, though. Mind you, our website is rubbish.

I thought a (flimsy) selling point of a 10 team comp was the removal of byes :-k Now it seems two clubs every week will be idle.

Glad South have the good Friday game back. Usually attracts around 4k, which is more than double our average home crowd.

Don;t understand why the Noarlunga game wouldn't be twilight at 4.30pm, its still daylight saving, allows others to do something during the day and still go to the footy and it could well still be 30+ degrees at that time of year.

Im guess TV want it 2.30pm.

Yep, meaning that the season is spread out over more rounds but more byes more often !!!

Also, I think there might also be a couple of country games - one at Mannum (SANFL Showdown) and maybe one in Renmark (West v Port)

SANFL Showdown !!

Because South aren't playing any night footy next year, from what I hear, following on from the issues with their lights late last year...
