Well, they definately need a forward after thier off-season losses...

I wouldn't be surprised if Central were really keen, as well, after losing Kemp and Retzlaff...

Will be interesting to see what unfolds with the happenings of L.Johnston in 2016...

Not sure mate!!!

One of my mates who played u/18's last year and is pushing for the ressies just told me that they had a ruck men from the western bulldogs train, couldnt remember his name just said he was 'tall' and not skinny but not ripped either.........................great description huh and then some young lad from the GWS academy who was apparently guaranteed to be placed on a rookie list by an AFL club and then just before the pick came along they told him they had changed direction and he wouldn't be selected. He didn't know his name either other than he thought it started with an S but size wise he seemed to think he was more of a midfielder.

REIGNING VFL premier Williamstown has landed its man, with delisted Western Bulldogs tall Ayce Cordy putting pen to paper with the club this morning.

The 25-year-old was the Seagulls’ No. 1 target following key forward Scott Clouston’s retirement.

Cordy made 27 appearances for the Bulldogs in seven seasons before being cut from their list.

He is no stranger at Burbank Oval, having booted 24 goals from 36 games between 2009-13 while Williamstown was aligned with the AFL outfit.

Cordy, who stands 204cm, has signed a two-year deal with the Seagulls.

“In terms of what was on the market, Ayce was at the top of our list,” Williamstown football manager Chris Dixon said.

James Sellar back at Jetty Road in 2016...

http://www.sanfl.com.au/news/sanfl_news/3288/

While ex Sturt players Ziggy Vitkunas and Harley Montgomery confirmed INS for the Bays, also...

The Tigers are building a good looking list, but we know that can mean nothing, come season proper...

That said, I'd be very surprised if they aren't one of the bigger improvers and ladder climbers next year...

This shapes up in the usual way of him chasing $ probably out of the SANFL,
but half the comp. will have a crack for sure ie. Centrals, Norwood, South, Sturt & Glenelg.
Let the insanity and denials begin.....

Wundke, Ainger, Boyd would never do that.

And Summerton loves the Power so much he's playing for the league minimum, no extra's ;)

and so are the other 5 clubs - the highest bidder the winner but some clubs asking North to reduce by 3/4 the transfer fee we would expect smacks of desperation and no $$$. All well and good to get the best deal but don't expect a 2015 model if your stumping up 1975 dollars!

I would not doubt that but Norwood could get him in under the cap is a question being asked around the traps but then again Norwood got bugger all for their repeating cheating last time given they had all forgiven for a yes vote re AFL Reserves they probably have credit in the bank from the SANFL.

I don't think we would be near the cap ATM, Newton would of been on a bit and then you throw in a few others that have left, that would probably outweigh what we are paying the players coming in

So if the Dogs are all in with their offer, with the obvious room they would have, no way Norwood could match that straight up
unless they revisit what worked a few years back........
Don't think the Bays have the $ to go as hard as the Dogs, and I doubt Johnston would be assed travelling to Noarlunga repeatedly,
so that leaves three?
Sturt have a couple of ex Crowbots back for 2016 and a nice central location for the boy to hang around but will they re finance
themselves for one player?
North should ask for every $ of transfer though now that the bidding is in full swing!

Can't see us chasing him too hard with Alleway going around again, Sellar coming home and the probable return of Kirkby.
