Central District has added to its ruck division as it prepares to tackle Adelaide at Playford Alive Oval on Saturday.
Former North Melbourne giant Ben Mabon returns to the Bulldogs’ 23-man squad to work in tandem with emerging ruckman Jacob Olsson.
Defender Caleb Edmead has been named on the extended interchange bench while midfielder Jackson Potter has been recalled to a forward pocket.

Mitch McGovern has been named at half-forward while impressive development player Nick Mott has shrugged off a calf injury to be listed in the forward pocket.

Wasn't a bad effort against Sturt, and we need a win for confidence. Dogs by 18.

Bye last week, Adelaide this week at home - bye, Port the following week at home so more farewells, and then another bye. That's no footy four weekends in a row. Including the state game we have 4 byes this year. Prior to it becoming a reserves competition, in 2013 we had 3, 2012 there were 4. So much for adding the extra team and ridding the comp of the bye.

Just as well Centurion as you wouldn't have got your normal spot due to the presence of the "4,000 " extra supporters promised by the Crows. I couldn't move in front of the grand stand for all the extras that showed up to this game. ;)

According to the Sunday Mail it was 1,873. My mates and I estimated it to be 1,200 - 1,300 so 1,873 is credible.

Puts it at about 40% more than the South game out here. I wasn't there yesterday, so for those that were at both, does this ring true?

Sitting in the GFC clubrooms right now, having my fourth pint after having treated the family to lunch at the GFC bistro. Supporting the club In a manner which does not also support the presence of garbage in Our League.

I broke my ban to support my club on the weekend.
Gee, what an electric atmosphere. Plenty of tumbleweeds rolled down that eastern wing on Saturday.
The noise when Adelaide scored was cacophonous. The scoreboard canteen couldn't keep up with the pies and pasties being bought.

Thanks for the two points.

Yes I don't get it. South had a least a couple of hundred supporters, it was the Novita round and the mayors cup. Why against Adelaide, who have no supporters, with rain predicted, did we get a bigger crowd? I cant comment on this year as I did not go, but against Adelaide last year the crowd appeared to be sub 1000 but reported as 1800 (IIRC.)

The game against South was both an early start and televised which going on the last couple of years has a dramatic effect on crowds at the Ponderosa.

It was interesting at The President's Luncheon, to have 2 spoonbills sitting with us, resplendent in their Centrals AND Crows colours. How ridiculous.
