Rnd 4 - North v South @ Prospect (Sat 25/5)

The Roosters were outclassed by an AFL-ladened Magpies team and suffered more injury concerns, particularly to their star recruit Lewis Johnston...

The Panthers bounced back from their loss to Port the week before and blitzed the Double Blues in a 3rd term onslaught, to run out winners by just under 4 goals....

This should be a really entertaining contest, that could go either way...

League @ 2:40pm

Reserves @ 12:00pm

Game will be broadcast on 107.9 LifeFM...

I'm hearing Johnston will be out 4-6.
South to win and North to once again have a banner miles better than anywhere else in the country.

LMAO, wasn't that sad. Made some of the lesser SANFL clubs banners over the years look impressive.

1st real game for North and will be tough. Even more so since their injury list is now longer than the available list. South carrying on from last year and will have just too much for a weakened North
Panthers by less than 10 points

I saw the picture of his ankle he put on Facebook the other night...

It looks like a 4-6 week injury. Puffy, swollen and black and blue !!!

Long day at Prospect Oval...I'll walk down for the dawn service followed by what should be an entertaining match.
I expect thePanthers to get over the line in a close one.

Nice to finally be playing an SANFL club! Looking forward to the game on Saturday.

North really struggled against South last year. South should win in a tight contest.

Roosters hard to beat at home, cold wet day looming therefore should be a tough tight struggle, not much between these sides, my tip a low scoring draw something to make us all cranky.

That's the best banner I have ever seen 8)

Sometimes less is more and that is brilliant and respectful. Well done to anyone involved in the production of that one.

I want to tip North now but South 13-24 for mine

Just to clarify as the photo didn't come up on my Ipad. I am speaking of the NAFC banner not the North Melb balloon and curtain

I expect North to be top 3 this year as the bubble may have burst at the parade.
Roosters at home by 30 points,we still have plenty of quality players.

Going to be a close one.

Reckon we might get over the line by a goal.

surely amato has to come in this week , im not sure what rules he broke pre season but all trials and first two rounds in seconds is big . the last thing north needs is for a player like him to leave and go to another club, we have been there b4 and it hurt us then and will again.
