Have not seen Glenelg in the trials. Not sure what to expect from their recruits.

Our team selection will be difficult and compounded by some players having a very limited preperation, such as Liddle , Rolfe and Veide.

I am pretty sure the Reserves are listed as 12.10pm which would make them the Curtain Raiser.

Thanks for that clarification...

I know last year, the Bays did play triple headers with their under 18's involved, as well...

Wasn't sure if this was going to be the case and didn't really have time, when initially posting thread, to track it down...

Will edit title post, accordingly...

Pity it isn't a twilight game, but TV wins against crowds again.

Might be able to get there for my first Bays game for 18 months.

Have a family easter thing on so wont be attending. Not sure what to expect, haven't followed the preseason form all that closely and am lacking the usual round 1 enthusiasm. MIlera will be a good pick up for the Bays if they can get the ball into their forward line enough. Our record at Glenelg is excellent (won the past 5). South by 3 goals.

Very good question..

Played Sturt the first year, and Bays the past couple.

My guess is to get an opposition to play they have had to trade away the home game.

If South can get 4000 plus to show up to Arctic Park then the Bays should be getting 5000 minimum.

Temperature of 27 degrees for Good Friday at The Bay.
Club is hoping for a crowd of 7000 to 8000 - with less than 1500 members & South's low supporter base me thinks GFC officials may have their heads in the clouds.....

....which is a slight improvement of them usually having their heads up their arses.

The Reserves game is at 12.25pm and it isn't a trial, it is their round 1 game.

Glenelg played a draw with West last Friday night in their round 1 fixture.

It feel like that we had a better record at Glenelg than Noarlunga in the last few years so it is kinda like a home game.

27 degrees is a good temperature to work up a thirst, and the GFC one of the few places where said thirst may be quenched. I reckon the crowd will be healthy.
