Geez ill have a crack at that, reckon we may be even better than last year.
How long since the Doggies have been that far down the list? No one taking odds on the Bays?

On what? Winning the premiership, finishing bottom, not being around?

Frame a market mate...

They are not listed on the Premiership market thats all.
Probably $1000 for the flag and $1.01 for the spoon though IMO.

Not sure, but I reckon a few bob on the 'Dogs at the beginning of 2000 might have netted a useful sum by season's end.

Norwood were actually $6 when it came out that morning. They adjusted it to the current price later in the day. I reckon Sturt are good value at $10

Those odds for the Doggies may be worth taking a shot at. The club has just announced its recruits for the season: 10 very good 'ins'.
Could be the surprise packet like in 2000.

Cheers

Really??? Not having a crack but apart from O'Brien and Meulendyks returning (and neither of those 2 are great to be honest) the other 8 are no different then the types of recruits or players every club picks up or tries out over every summer / pre-season - hardly names that are known at even a State League level?

Having said that you never know because all clubs at one time or another find a diamond in the rough who makes the grade and plays regular league games as a decent contributor.

Adelaide reserves will struggle a bit more than last season. A lot more kids on the list with experience gone.

Although I have not personally seen them play, there are a couple of Mail Medallists and a player that Brenton Fevola classes 'an AFL star in the making' amongst them. You will also find that O'Brien will come back a much more determined and passionate player, in the mould of Ian Callinan.
Central were also a form team in the second half of last season, winning 7 of 8 matches leading into the finals (until they lost to North in the final round). Not saying they will win the flag by any means, but I would not have them as 8th either.

Cheers

Adelaide are about $30 over.

Mind you, at a similar time last year I told punters to avoid at $7.50 a team that went on to go within one straight kick of winning it.

So who do we avoid this season Simon? [emoji6]
