Think I read somewhere that both sides agreed to play their best teams for the first half.

Anyone with a half time score?

37° in the first week of February.

1 - Nobody is playing their "best team" at this point in time.
2 - It matters somewhere between 0 and **** all if they were.

Yes played first half and played well.

I thought the Eagles played an almost full strength side., Eagles skill level was much higher than ours. Our goal kicking was woeful

Ah no worries I saw him at the Hilton Hotel just down the road from Westies in thongs, shorts and a tank top at about 9pm. Didn't look like he had played a game of footy.

PORT Adelaide won't rest over its Easter weekend SANFL bye, instead fixturing a trial game against amateur league goliath Goodwood Saints. Allocated the bye in the opening round over the Easter weekend, the Magpies will instead play the Saints on Easter Thursday 2 April under lights at Thebarton Oval. The Academy will play division two side Prince Alfred Old Collegians in the curtain-raiser, and will also play Tea Tree Gully at 9:15am before Port Adelaide's trial game against the Crows at Alberton on March 21.

When was the last time an amateur aussie rules team played against a SANF...sorry, AFL team?

The Crows played Golden Grove in a trial game a couple of weeks back I think.

When was the last time a professional team referred to its ammo opponents as a "goliath" and a "powerhouse"?

An internal trial would have more benefit than flogging Ammos! Still let's hope the Ammos go the knuckle!

Goodwood will give them a run. A proud club and would relish the challenge. Maybe some knuckle could be possible........

Goodwood are as professional a club you will find outside the SANFL. They will not go the knuckle.
