I think the increased coverage is of benefit to discuss for marketing/sponsorships purposes.
However, are the larger tv audiences making up for those who aren't attending the games which aren't being covered on tv?

From there, how do the clubs sell this 'increased sponsorship possibility' due to TV, which is seemingly more glamorous to a business than people actually in the ground, to potential sponsors? They would want to know how many games the club they sponsor is going to host on tv, wouldn't they? How does the club provide this info?

There's a lot of water under the bridge before clubs can actively and aggressively market themselves via this avenue - one which the clubs are ultimately paying for each week.

It's not a bad idea, but there's plenty needs to be done.
