Absolute disgrace if true

I have no idea who it is .
But if they belong to another SANFL don't they need to be cleared
The Eagles had three indigenous players at the academy one played a few league games all three played
Seconds for the Eagles
One got drafted into the AFL from the draft

Did it a year or two ago to a North player. Just the expected protocol in building relations with SANFL clubs, hard to imagine how they go nowhere.

"Dear Paul what I meant to say was the AFL sides are the lifeblood of a vibrant SANFL and we're too scared to upset them in case they call us names and stuff. You can see how difficult footy administration these days can be. Put you down for 4 memberships then? OK. Love Nick."

North - $375,000 profit.

Glenelg - $3.0m debt.

Must get unlimited text messages. ;)

I thought their call centre might have been sitting in their grand stand when the storm hit.

North didn't get one, sorry, I'd hate to see the Bays go but they have to do it without a bail out, then it will be sustainable

I thought the Bays were getting Footy Park money forwarded where North got nothing with the SANFL quite happy to let North die to make an 8 team comp? Have you heard otherwise?

It was a comment "expecting" a bail out from the SANFL.

In 2003 North were in a worse position financially than Glenelg, there were no SANFL bail outs the club was on it's knees and unbelievably close to just closing it's doors. The league (and other clubs) were prepared to sit back and watch the Roosters die.

With a financial guarantor, the NAFC went into further debt, developed Grand North, purchased the Northern Tavern lease, the rest is history, they still owe plenty but it is being serviced and is reducing every year by a substantial amount.

My comment was suggesting for them to genuinely survive, Glenelg need to do it on their own, even the fundraiser happening atm isn't sustainable, supporters aren't going to put their hands in their pockets year in year out to keep the club afloat, they have to develop a sound business plan that will support the football operations or they may as well close the doors and walk away now

Sorry, that may sound harsh but it is reality.

JUst finished reading CDFCs annual review.

Kris Grant and Roy Laird both state the club is still not happy and will continue fighting the afl issue.

Keep fighting people someone's in a corner

Interesting I've had a crow power and SANFL employee quote we only had 8 drafted this year.

Apparently rookie draft -doesn't count anymore.

Watch this space.
