Reserves Round 1 / League Trial Games

With the Reserves kicking off next weekend but the League still being in Trial Game mode it will be interesting to see how clubs go about picking their sides as you are less likely to have a guy only playing half a game play Reserves if it counts for something.

I would expect most clubs would pick there best available 21 for League, the. Next best 21 for Reserves and then top up League side with kids if players will not play a whole game in the League Trial.

Norwòod have listed their teams.
look to be resting a lot of first pick players at the expense of the ressies team.

Why arnt the ressies etc just playing an 20 round season like the league and having a bye whenever the League plays the Crows?

Will there only be the League match at each home game this year?

Adelaide don't have a team in the SANFL reserves competition. There's only 9 teams in that comp.

Making Adelaides set up even more ridiculous.

I wish centrals had. The games qualification might count toward the end of season too .

Pretty sure that guys who played 12 or more league games last year cant play unless a permit is granted.

Big Norwood ruckman Angus Clarke came off the ground in the first term with what looked like a bad hip injury...

Hobbled back to the rooms on crutches just before half time. Hopefully nothing too serious long term for the Gus Bus...

Bays 12.11 v Westies 1.1 at halftime. Can only guess Westies have a lot of players missing in there reserves side.
