Are those players still at the club Jim ?
My mail is that all the troops were wrapped and enjoyed Cott's tenure very much.
I'd say he did a lot better than OK. He turned things around very quickly and orchestrated a lot
of good solid wins, many of which were deemed unlikely. Your opinion surprises me greatly.
Oh well, we can't all see things the same way. I still firmly believe that ANY club that enlists Cott's
services is very lucky indeed. Happy to agree to disagree on this one mate.

I would have absolutely no problem with Cotts at Norwood, and a couple of reserve players who might have had a beef have been moved on.

However I would still expect the Club to advertise and appoint the best man!

If Bass moved on I would like to see Robbie Neil as our next coach.

Tim Weatherald is a name that seems to be held in relatively high regard as a potential senior coach

So lets recap where we are at for the vacant coaching positions.

North - Slade and Hart both mentioned as potential candidates
West - Mickan early front runner
South - Trevena heavy favourite
Glenelg - After experience, Jarman up to his neck for this job, Fuller also an option and there has been some late mail Halbert is a chance
Norwood (If Bassett leaves) - Cotton will be considered and also Roger James name has been thrown out as an option

If Bass left which eventually he will I think the coach would come from within as the structures set up by Bass and Co need to be maintained. That is why I like the idea of Robbie Neil and the guy knows football inside out !

Is Stephen Doyle still in the Norwood coaches box ? Is he an option for the full time job if it comes on the Market or is he strictly a Ruck/Midfield coach ?
