Some guy just asked Ben Warren how Norwood were going to counter the Power's run from defence.

Let's run a book on how many times the bullsh•t phrase 'new era' gets trotted out.

As much as the term "state league side" by anyone involved with the Cows.

Given it's after lunch, he's unlikely to be sober.

Take it back. The interview at least had a reasonable SANFL perspective to it.
Telecast ok so far- refreshing to see a night game covered.

Seemed to be no replays throughout the coverage and I thought the commentators were pretty flat. Overall an ok package but I'd like to see an improvement. Great to have SANFL to watch on a Thursday night. Hope the ratings were solid.

Yes I agree . Not trying to go overboard with their commentary but I do agree with Clarrie a bit flat at times. A bit more "excitement " needed at times but maybe a few more mics to capture the crowd noise will help.

Overall good and professional which is long over due.

I thought it was OK, certainly miles ahead of the ABC coverage, but then again it should be considering it costs 10 times as much.

Was on the big screen at the bowls club (!) last night. Couldn't hear it but it LOOKED superb - lots more cameras than ABC I guess? Timmie's chin looked gargantuan in HD

Well, it is a new era. Adelaide have joined the other 9 clubs in the SANFL to make it a 10 team comp again.

Watched the whole game and really enjoyed the coverage.

Commentary team worked well together and will only get better the more they work together.

Also liked that at half time they were on the ground talking and doing interviews rather than showing highlights of other state leagues like the ABC used to do.

I would say a great practice run for the Blockbuster on Good Friday down at Noarlunga :D

That and the replacement of the Magpies with a Power reserves side.

Great reading, highest rating minor round game since 2001!
Eclipsed all other digital channels and beat Channel 10s main channel!
This new coverage is the best thing to happen to the SANFL in years!

I'm quick to criticise but on this occasion I will give credit where it is due!! After having been alerted that a camera had been placed in my viewing spot at Norwood Oval a phone call to Chris Davies and the problem was solved, camera moved!!
Many thanks Chris, averted what could have been a "situation".
