Played at Prospect. Tough one to call, but going to say North at home. This is the TV game.

This will be a great game, high scoring free running footy today at Prospect. Pity there wont be a big crowd.

That's because, for some reason people are saving their money to go to the crappy lowdown at footy park tomorrow. North and South fans should see more highlights in the 1st 15 minutes than the afl fans will see in an entire match.
I'm going for North because it's at Prospect and I think they are the better team, but on their day South is as dangerous as any team in the competition.

Final score
North 21.15.141
South 16.6.102
North by 39 pts.
Would have like it to be a little closer.

south played absolutely rubbish footy today too much handball which made a lot of turnovers. the umpiring wasnt much better which helped north win the game south made north look good this arvo

what do you expect when you have ex AFLplayer sitting out on a limb getting easy kicks, and thanks Mr Cupido for the spray you gave me in the 3rd 1/4. My 6 yr old gets in and gets a harder ball than you will ever get, no wonder you are no longer in the AFL

cupido was an absolute discrace today and most of the season hes lazy and has really only performed in a few games for south and i reckon hes put on some weight since hes started at south (but not as much as the jars brothers have)

Well i think its fair enough that he have a look at Carlile, the guy who will probably be his club's full back for the next 10 years!!!!

Turnovers from skill errors and bad decisions hurt, inconsistant umpiring decisions (but nowhere near as much as we usually get) hurt, but the thing that hurt most was not having a big marking target up forward.
Hargreaves provided just that for the Cocks in the first half although not as much in the second but by that time the gelding had bolted. His influence on his teammates was also a big factor. Although I would like to see him do his "Oh yeah, have a go then.." thing to someone bigger than Matty Smith.

Good to see 2 of the 3 total of Souths supporter base on the web tonight having their normal "excuse" and whinge session. Well heres my take on the game.
Watch the replay if you think you were hard done by re the umpiring. They were their normal inconsistent but North got the worse run of decisions even though North played in front 90 percent of the game and deserved the ones they got.
Sampson will get reported for throwing out his leg in the last quarter in tripping Ivens. Poor effort by the Captain. South won't miss him he is on his last legs.
Talking about players picking on players, Parry lost interest early and spent most of his game hitting blokes late and behind play.
Stupido is a lazy fat turd who sucks off easy kicks and is not a team player.
Talking of fat turds clearly Hanby shares a house with Cupido and I can imagine it would have to have been remodelled to fit in all the fat food those two consume. I wouldn't be suprised to learn why South has such a poor following if someone told me that Stupido and Handby have eaten most of the supporters as an in between snack.
No wonder Clarke gets reported so much he is a behind the play sniper and looking a little portly himself.
Hargraves and Alleway got right under the skin of the Aliphate Carlisle who is a "big sized" player by the way in case you South sooks couldn't see for the tears in your eyes.
Your lucky North treated most of the second half as a training run and kicked poorly otherwise it would have been a real thrashing. 71 to 43 inside 50's tells the story.
Time for another glass of my favourite wine "Arrogance" with a subtle blend of modesty.
