My thoughts: After seeing both teams last weekend I have no idea who will win, both were ultra impressive, Norwood had a harder game but have the extra days rest and home ground advantage. Toss of the coin but I'm tipping Glenelg as Saturday is shaping up as a nice day, if it was wet I would have tipped Norwood.

Yes, I am thinking Glenelg may get up in this one but rather hopeful the Redlegs will again prevail. I'm just rapt with the improved form of the past few weeks and looking forward to further improvement. This weekend will be a good test for both sides.

Nicholas dropped? Very disappointing because I thought he had lifted his game over the past 2 weeks.

Norwood's defence has been rock solid in the past few weeks and if Jackman can again do what he has been doing in recent games, as long as the Legs can stop the run of Gibbs, Glenelg will find it hard to penetrate. Zorzi was in superb touch in defence and nullified Norths big men. At the Parade I think Norwood will again show that they can alter their game style to suit their running fleet and rely on the crowd to help them ver the line in what should be another narrow result for the Legs. Obviously i haven't seen the Bays play, bu Port have been on the slide recently so i am not sure what to read into lat weeks result. Norwood were good for their previous result against north and blew them away in the first half. The home crowd could be the only thing separating the teams this week.

Norwood should win this. They've beaten two quality sides in the last two weeks. Glenelg have beaten two sides in bad form. This will be the real test to see how good Glenelg really are.

i would expect us to win comfortably & i did back norwood last week as i think they have the wood on north but against us i cant see them kicking enough goals to get close but time will tell & i am punting on us confidently

Yes, it was a strange comment. Apart from the water polo match at Adelaide Oval in 2005, North Adelaide is the team we've had the most difficulty with over the past 4-5 years.

This is a tough one to pick, but I think the bays will win.

I'm with you Tassie

quietly confident of a win at the parade, Although it would be very Bay like to throw away a great oppourtunity to cement our spot this week, the team is looking good and we will come away with the 2 points.

Whereas we haven't won too many games, we've been competitive most of the time against the Eagles, but North have given us some real thumpings.

On the mark as usual AH, going back the last 3 years Norwood have won 2 games by a collective 13 points against North. North have won 5 games by a collective 239 points. Certainly makes bayman's comment about Norwood having the wood on North an interesting one to see the least! lol

I haven't kept record of recent Eagles v Norwood games to compare though.

The Bays will win simply because they are a better side than Norwood.

I was forgetting about 2004 when we didn't do so well, but our record isn't too bad against the Eagles.

In 2001, we lost the 1st game by 19, and won the 2nd by 31.
In 2002, we won all three games by 15, 15, and 9.
In 2003, Eagles won by 14 and 10.
In 2004, Eagles won by 33, 61, and 43.
In 2005 Eagles won by 19 and 9.
In 2006 Eagles have won both games by 2 and 21.

So apart from 2004, we've been quite good against the Eagles.

So, by that logic can we assume you think Norwood is a better side than North Adelaide? :)
