Rumours (or fact?) doing the rounds:

Andrew Beveridge has quit the blues?

Patrick Wiggins is quitting the bloods or will get the boot?

A blonde haired defender from Norwood has been a little naughty with another players partner and has caused a "split" in the playing group - looks like he may be on his way out?

More to come (or maybe not?) on all of the above!

While I don't pretend to be privy to the inner sanctum at Unley, this one won't surprise given that in rebuilding sides, it's nearly always the older players that go first, regardless of their standing in the current setup. Will probably be 3 or 4 others that go in the next two months.

Will be interested to talk to my Norwood connections regarding that other matter.
Have got a couple in mind but if it's one of those, not exactly the sort of impression you wan't to be making when you're new at the club.

Re: The Legs rumour, it's new's to me and those I've checked with thus far ... Doesn't mean to say it isn't true, but here's hoping it's not, one of the oldest problems faced by every club thats ever existed I'd imagine so I guess it could never be ruled out!

Ben Gunning plays in the league on the Yorke Peninsula as he lives and works in the family business at Maitland.

You did well Drebin, one has been in the Advertiser. Wiggins would be no real surprise as the Weed will be wanting to have a bit of a clean out one would think and wait and see on the last one if there is any truth to it which hopefully there isn't.

Well 2 Norwood people have told me there is some truth to it (plus my original source) although they didn't know the exact reason for the alleged "split".

Wiggins I'm told wants to go but it is past the June 30 clearance cut off so he may well stay but he is certainly out of favour and has made that clear to players at other clubs who he is friendly with. It appears he wants West to give him the flick so he gets full contract payment, mind you most of his 2 years have been "under false pretences" so he should pay back most of his fee's to the WAFC!

Can I just point out to others that Drebing asked me to remove the references to the North player, I didn't take it off for any other reason than that I was asked by the author to remove it. People can "edit" their own posts but when people quote it, it then takes a mod.
