Any smokies you can think of that might join Roe and Schell as being chances of being re-drafted to an AFL club?
Ladhams told me he had an out clause of the 2 year contract with North if he got picked up, dunno what his chances will be like though.

Patful maybe, although it appears as though some AFL clubs have mellowed in their interest..

Patfull is training with Brisbane CP, so thats a start. My mail is that they're pretty keen on him but we'll just wait and see.

Cheers OMH ... I've heard at differing times that Hawthorn, Fremantle and Adelaide were also looking at him ...

Yep, Hawks WERE keen on Patty but they've got 300 other prospective players training with them. Not sure whether the SA-based clubs are keen on him at all.

PS - in response to the title of this thread...I reakon Macca would be a chance to be "draught-ed".

If the shit really hits the fan in the middle east we could see a whole heap of players drafted.

Will be a great success story is Roe is drafted to Port. Certainly has the ability and flair.

Roe absolutely. Most accurate kick over 50m in SANFL IMHO.
Like Jake Bowen from us as a huge smokey. As I've said before, i reckon he is one of those rare cases where they have actually undersold him for height. listed at 198 but I think he is at least 203.
Would like to see Malinovski at the next level, the Stephen Milne of the SANFL.
Clayton must have some sort of rough chance.

ORDB, Malinovski would need to play more than the odd good SANFL game to be even remotely considered for the AFL.

I'd say Bernie Vince is a chance after viewing todays paper. He's 20/21. More likely a rookie than anything.
Jeremy Clayton would be a chance. Magarey Medal under his belt.

I dont even know if J Clayton has nominated. If he has then im sure he would come into consideration. He wasnt given a good shot at North Melbourne as he didnt have the right attitude. He was let go after the National Draft and before the pre season draft from memory which left it too late for him to train at another club and find a new AFL home.

The fact he signed another contract halfway through the year leads me to believe that he hasnt nominated for the draft this year.
