Hi everyone,

As stated in the "homemade" thread - I've finished the 1983 Grand Final DVD. There isn't much in the way of extras unfortunately, but the game is in full, with introduction, the game, half time, and in the rooms afterwards. The Finals Series is also on there (scores etc) which is nice too.

Here is the opening menu - the colour square on the "film strip" is actually video footage - and the old Westies song version from that day is played over the top:

Apparently most North Adelaide finals are available on DVD so I probably won't bother with any of them. Same with the Dogs - I think all their flags are recent enough for DVD already? Someone confirming that would be handy.

Next on the list are ;

:arrow: South's '64 Flag (10 minutes unfortunately)
:arrow: 1989 VFL GF (Half done)
:arrow: 1993 SANFL Grand Final
:arrow: A Glenelg Flag
:arrow: A Port Adelaide Flag

I also need/want to grab all the "The Way It Was" Videos and put them on DVD.

I bought a house 10 weeks ago and the settlement is tomorrow (Friday) so this weekend will be packing/moving - and everything will be everywhere for a while. I hope to get back into the swing ASAP (I have two weeks holidays as of COB tomorrow).

D

Unless you can find the VHS/Beta copy of the 1934 flag all Glenelg GFs are on DVD and available at the Club.

A special for all the Dogs supporters the lost game CD v Gl at the Bay in 1975 is available on DVD too.....

Great work Diss though, keep it up. I would be interested if you have any of the post match celebrations planned for your Glenelg GFs as I do not know if they are on the club DVDs

FWIW there are some images of the 1934 Tigers on the "Tigers of Old" DVD, available from the club.

Ahh cheers '80TM I didn't realise that!

What are the DVD's like ? Is it just a straight conversion from VHS - or are there menus etc ?
