Yes mate he is ... Agreed on the status of the game ... A loss here and things start to look real tough for the Legs for mine ..

The problem for us is the Dogs are in the same boat, and as they showed against North they can still put it all on show when they are up against it. This current Norwood side would have played finals easily over the years but the competition seems to have lifted in the past couple of seasons. I haven't seen the teams but it appears Jesse Aish has been selected. Great to have another Aish on board. This one is taller and quite talented from what I've seen. I'm looking forward to see what impact he makes on league football. It's always exciting to see sons of former greats make the team.

Agreed mate, I just think the Dogs have that bit more quality to be able to not only compete with, but defeat the top 3 teams, whereas we don't (at this stage) appear able to do that ... Hence a loss for the Dogs will set them back, but I would still be confident they would get through.

As a rule we generally match up well against Centrals imho, however we know they will take their opportunites near goal when presented and this seems to be something we struggle with a little ... Whilst I'd expect the Doggies to prevail tomorrow I'll still head along to Hamra with some degree of confidence/hope.

Norwood's record out at elizabeth has not been flash over the years so you would think it would take a huge effort

Young Aish, you old is the Kid and is he an on baller, also does he qualify under the father-son rule, if so I am assuming Norwood is aligned to the crows

nice point sydney-dog.

Well he played for the state u20's last week so old enough for the draft. Bryce Gibbs has taken most of the spotlight re father/son rules this year.

Not sure how many games Michael Aish played for Norwood pre 1991, and what the number of games is for eligibility.

Prior to 1991, Michael Aish played 256 games for Norwood plus a number of state matches. I have no idea what the father/son rule is, but I would certainly think Michael Aish's son would have to qualify. Michael is a 300 game player in the SANFL. Haven't seen enough of Jesse to know if he is AFL standard, but he does look to have some ability and should certainly do well for Norwood at least.

I am so glad this game isn't at Norwood.....!

We could just sneak over the line.

I hope we don't need the lucky train this time......! lol

We don't need a train Dog_ger, just 21 players to put in like they did against North
