looks like another long cold winter at Westies this year. When was the last time a team went through a season without winning a game?

Tim Inkster has taken a screamer. For those who can remember it was very similar to Michael Roach's mark for Richmond in 1980.

Inkster's in everything in the final term.

Eagles 12-12, West 7-7

Mark of the Year by Tim Inskter - try to catch on replays was sensational

Still lots of room for improvement. Not a great win by any means, but Inksters' mark made it memorable.

Great grab by Inkster - that will take some beating. A copy of the tape into the Footy Show "Almost Legends" could be the go but after Nick Gill took off one the weekly award last year the "mail is" that they will not show any SANFL comp marks as the comp is designed for the lower league action. Funny though they still squeeze in the elite TAC Cup U/18's and VFL tapes though? I would suggest it is anti-SA and SANFL that is driving that decision if that is the case even though Cos Cardone the Exec Producer is a Croweater!

I remember Scott Matthews hanger a few yrs back was looked over for the weekly prize on a.f.l because it was from the SANFL and they'd rather give it to something from the 'country'

The country zone extends right into the Melbourne CBD...
That is just f***in ridiculous. Almost Football Legends should be open slather to all football outside the actual AFL- it's not like we (as a comp) have an entry every week.

All four Eagles grades won today - the reserves 1st win of the year and the 19s' against an unbeaten West side who previously kicked scores of 23.13, 25.18, 19.13, 15.18, 26.29 and 19.10.

I disagree, to me having marks taken in the SANFL as entries in the Almost Football Legends brings out league down placing it in relevence with country and amateur comps.
I think it should only have marks from the lower leagues excluding the SANFL, VFL, WAFL and perhaps a couple of others.
Just my opinion though.

Agree. SANFL should never be shown on Almost Football Legends. I cringe every time I see it and can only think the people who submit the videos are the same people who take their kids home straight after the mini-league game.

Yeah pretty good point, ressies and junior stuff's still acceptable maybe. Be nice if 'Simply Footy' had something like this so you wouldnt have to send vids to Melbourne.

Yes, fully agree with you.

I remember when the AFL reserves competiton was still around and someone had sent in a video of a player running the wrong way for about 40 metres, taking a couple of bounces and kicking a "goal". All the other players on the field were just watching him, not believing what he was doing.
