Mark Mickan going for six
Posted: Sat Jun 13, 2009 8:18 pmWell as I understand it tonight at presentations following our win over Wsties the club announced that Mark Mickan has agreed to a contract extension and will coach Glenelg until the end of the 2011 season.
This is great news and speaks volumes IMO of the hard work put in by the club's leadership since the dark days of 2005 to bring stability and professionalism to the Glenelg Footy club. Strong clubs have stability and with the same President and Senior Coach it certainly builds a strong foundation for our club to move forward with confidence as we enter the 10th decade of our existance in 2011
As a Bays fans this is great news as the work Mark has done in building a strong club ethos around hard work, discipline and the TEAM well it has been instremental in our rise from 8th just three years ago.
