Sturt supporters is he any good?
Now training at North.
I'll go out on a limb and say he'll be a better recruit than Adrian Burton was. ;)

Anyone know why he walked away from Sturt

Probably because he is finding it hard to break back into the A's. Sturt will probably lose a few players from the B's as they are quite a strong team & a few of the players are probably thinking they could possibly play league with other sides .
If " Frank " has left, it is a shame to see him go, but I wish him success & hope he gets a league game wherever he ends up, unfortunately, we can't play them all.

Probably realised he wasn't going to play league this year save for a huge run of Sturt injuries. There would be quite a few ahead of him in the Sturt reserves at the moment I reckon...Anderson, Avery, Farmer, McDonald, Paynter, Sharples and Miles and Myles

He has good potential though & was named 2nd best for the club in the game against South a few weeks ago (kicking 6 goals as an agile forward).

Have always rated Frank, you will get lots of value there. Would hate to see him go but I really feel for a few of the Sturt boys (playing under Paul Jarvis who would empathise more than most) who can't quite crack the league team - a good position to be in of course.

He'll be alright, apparently his mum is a Roosters supporter and the family has links out at North.
Good luck to the kid!
Hope he gets to break it with North in the senior team.

To keep up the tradition of Sturt & North players swapping clubs. The list goes on.......

I've seen George play a fair bit of reserves footy over the last few seasons and he is no doubt a very taleneted player...

I'm sure Sturt supporters who see him every week can confirm this more than I can, but even at reserves level, he seems to lack a bit of consistancy at times.

I've seen him kick 5 goals in a quarter then go missing for the rest of the game which I'm sure, along with the plethora of talent, has restricted him to the minimal league games he has played for the Double Blues.

Good luck to him at North, would say he could fit into the North league side, in particular as a crumbing forward with the real winter months upon us now and wet footy on the way. Probably competing with Heath Younie for that same spot in the side but with Heath closing in on end of his career, Thringy could secure that permanant spot in future years.

I know North and Sturt have a bit of history with player swapsees but surely not as much as Centrals and North in recent seasons. Sorry, slightly off topic I know...

Not certain exactly, and not sure how credible the source is. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
