Much like today on the last occassion that the SANFL played the Tasmania Football League, we lost. When are we going to get another opportunity to square up for it as we now want to do with the WAFL?

We need to square it up with the WAFL as well. As was said during the on field presentations, the two states were 45 a piece going into today.

I think that now they have the Statewide league back, they could make the tri-state agreement a quad-state one instead which could eliminate the bye each state has every three years, live coverage on ABC1, ABC2 and ABC3 -- which at the moment is just showing ABC1 programming -- even get ABC-HD in on it.
Either that or we have three games a year involving the four leagues...
EXAMPLES
Between Rounds 6 & 7
FRIDAY NIGHT -- WAFL vs. VFL @ Fremantle Oval
SATURDAY -- TSL vs. SANFL @ North Hobart Oval
Between Rounds 13 & 14
SATURDAY -- VFL vs. TSL @ Port Melbourne
SATURDAY NIGHT -- SANFL vs. WAFL @ Coopers Stadium
Between Rounds 19 & 20
FRIDAY NIGHT -- SANFL vs. VFL @ Coopers Stadium
SATURDAY -- TSL vs. WAFL @ Bellerive Oval
They used to do three a year back in the old days. Matches between SA and Tassie could see them play for a Daniel Hulm Memorial Trophy, seeing as he played footy in both states. Just an idea, anyways.

On ABC it had us a win up 45 - 44 and that was before the game.

WA paper has it:
The 12.10 (82) to 12.9 (81) victory is the WA's first over SA since 1994 and gives the Sandgropers a 46-45 overall lead in clashes between the two states.

Then who's right then, ABC or the WA paper?

Well the Tasmanian State league has started up again so maybe in a few seasons if they ever sort out their North/South differences we could take them on again.

Qld play Tas in Hobart on June 8 ... play the winner. Qld with NT in their league would be an interesting side.
