Hi all,

On Tuesday night's (8.30pm) show, we give the most comprehensive preview on Adelaide TV of the SA v WA state game, looking at the squads and some possible match-ups.

Also - on the Sunday show, we have started a new weekly competition, with the prize being a $50 voucher from "At The Toss Of A Coin". We are looking for the best post-match analysis;comments;thoughts of the match you were at. Entries should be no more than 6 lines in length, and please keep it clean! The entry judged best each week will win the voucher.

Entries need to be emailed to mailto:totalsanfl31@hotmail.com by no later than 8.30pm on Saturday nights.

Cheers
Chris

Maybe we should have opened it up for a poetry competition instead!

On this Sunday's show, our special player guest is Stephen Bailey from Norwood. On next Tuesday's "SANFL Insight", James Moore will be joining us from North Adelaide, to chat about the Rooster's rise over the past few seasons.

G'day everyone,

Don't forget today's show at midday, when Dennis Browne, Todd Wellington and myself are joined by Norwood's Stephen Bailey as special guest to review Round 8 of OUR SANFL.

Cheers
Chris

Geez I thought Bailey was appalling today and that taking into account his obvious nerves. Every answer he gave was almost indentical, long winded, contradictory in patches and got to no conclusion in the end. What did he actually say of any relevance? He got stumped with CK's technical diagram of the North forward line? Mind you that would have got most footballers but his (CK's) point was North pushing numbers into the fwd line in the last quarter. Bailey (as a defender) had no idea - no wonder they lost!

He's a footballer. He's not supposed to say anything of relevance. :)

We were quite happy with Stephen and were grateful he took the time to join us on the show. Each person brings their own style to things and we look forward to having players on from each club over the season to chat about their game and the club.

On this Sunday's show, we will be joined by reigning Magarey Medallist, Jeremy Clayton and fellow Magpie, Daniel Elstone.

Great show tonight with DB and James Moore.
Probably the best one so far, I hope a few previously dubious opposition fans watched it to get a further idea about how the North Adelaide footy club works and why some players came there as opposed to other places.

PS Good to hear the Grog Squad get a mention too.

Fantastic initiative.

Wedgie, You know that grog and SANFL don't mix lol.

I hate to imagine how bad I'd be after several ales at Sturt games.

I'm the crazy one at our games now, so imagine me after several lagers.

I thought he was cute. Brought out all the mother instincts, looked like he needed them at times.

The leaderboard in our Player Of The Year is as follows (3-2-1 basis):

12 - Jeremy Clayton (Port Adelaide)
9 - James Gallagher (Norwood)
6 - Nick Gill (NA), John Baird (PA), Richard Douglas (G)

Regular fans of the show will also be aware of our Joe Pedler challenge. Joe is the most experienced (games played) player in the SANFL not to kick a goal in senior level (86 games). We have laid down the challenge to Joe - which he, the Eagles players and Ron Fuller are all aware of - to drift and kick that first goal. We are gradually building a prize pool as encouragement, which currently stands at 3 cartons of West End and a $50 voucher to "At The Toss Of A Coin".

Joe drifted down in the Port game to have a ping at goal, but missed - so our countdown continues!
