Big Phil wrote:So after the Pies notched up their first win of the season they head out to Hamra Homes Oval to take on an undefeated Centrals outfit that are yet to put 4 solid quarters of football together.
The Dogs may welcolme Jon Griffin into their side but will lose Dan Havelberg to a hamstring strain. Port will be sweating on the fitness of Jarrod Young and hoping the Crows don't take Ivan Maric as he has been damaging up forward for the Maggies.
For me, at this stage, I think if the Dogs come out switched on, Port wont get within 10 goals of them but we all know that you can never underestimate any Port Adelaide side and I'm sure they will be competitive.
My tip - Centrals by 38 points

Big Phil wrote:There is a whisper going around that the Power may look at dropping the out of form Brett Ebert and Peter Burgoyne this week, mwaning they would play in this game against the Dogs.
I can't see that happening especially considering K.Cornes and Salopek are going to miss for the Power with their shoulder injuries. I think Hamish Hartlett and Josh Carr will come in for those 2 and Burgoyne and Ebert should keep thier spot.
Dutchy posted over on the Sturt v South thread that the Double Blues may have the services of Daniel Pearce but for the same reasons mentioned above, I can't see Port making those type of changes to their side.

I wonder if his dad will get on the radio again and complain about the treatment his son received from Central players...
